The CAM RADIO SERVER delivers my RF AMP GUY shop webcam here...  HI-DEF camera stream

While I seek a format in which I will build this site upon, I will tell you why I have decided to build the site in the first place.
I, like most of you out there, enjoy amateur radio. It is a fun hobby that, when I was a kid, reminded me of the glory days of
radio when some little kid pounding brass in a dark basement corner till all hours of the night. Like that dream, just one more final contact before going to bed. My mother would sneak in on me and yank the head-set from my ears, drag me into my bed while lecturing me about attending school in the morning.

I managed to dream about those contacts I made using my single 807 on 40 meter CW, around 7155 KHz (xtal)  or there about. Well that dream has turned a little sour these days, but the memory remains. I still long for more power. I was mesmerized by glowing 813's and sparkling blue 866's. These were the sites of power, all coming from the energy these devices emitted. The smell of warm "oil filled" caps, the crackle of the wire and the "buzz" of current flowing through the meters on a cabinet panel, the coils and capacitors we tuned and the fire that ran along the home made feed-line, This was my HAM RADIO and I still enjoy the feel of controlling that energy.
I have assembled a shop where I can repair HF/VHF amplifiers and build one or two if I ever get some free time. This shop will be on WEB CAM video displayed on this website. Articles including tutorials for novice users and first time amp owners will be here. I will cover all aspects of the HF amplifiers including a few solid state amps, even though vacuum tubes are my true love. I have a good deal of experience with switch mode power supplies,  but raw "iron, copper and oil" is the best choice. I understand what I have learned over the years. I have gained great respect for those "high voltage" supplies that renders graphite into a golden glow.
Pleas stop back again. If you have questions regarding your amplifier and certain concerns about operating conditions, please feel free to contact me. I will be here as long as I remain helpful to my fellow Ham Radio Operator.

73 and regards,
Terry W3EUT

I do not install JAN 811A tubes as replacement in Ameritron Amplifiers.
I recommend RF PARTS Company and the TAYLOR PRC (match sets) for 811 and 572B amplifiers.
Thank you, W3EUT

This website will be updated shortly.
Meanwhile, don't have a parasitic attack.

This webcam is generally live. If you see me at my bench you may contact me on 40 Meters. I listen on 7140 KHz. If I am listening to a specific frequency, it will be posted on the video.
